Time to start taking an early look at the winter 2009-2010 season again! I fear that this might be the only good post I can do for a while…I see people posting charts already, so I’m not going to be lazy like last time and actually start early (EDIT: but got beaten anyway orz). So, enjoy! Or not. At least I will spend some more time updating and making this better than last ones.
Anyways, this season looks quite break which is why I’m being a bit harsher on it than last season. I don’t think this season will be like the warming flames of the fireplace and more of a bland and therefore “frosty” season. So, take a seat, grab a hot chocolate since you might need it when I’m done possibly flaming this season.

If you haven’t picked up on it already, the color of the name = color of opinion.
It begins:

Summary:
The story centers around Akihisa Yoshii, the “baka” of the title. His academy rigidly divides up the student body into classes based on the results of tests. The prodigies are in the A class with reclining seats complete with air conditioning, but Akihisa is in F class, the lowest rung of the school ladder which is furnished only with low, decrepit tables and worn-out straw tatami mats. A girl named Mizuki Himeji is actually one of the smartest girls in Akihisa’s sophomore year, but she had a fever on test day and was pigeonholed into the F class. Besides Mizuki (who Akihisa secretly adores), the F class also has Yūji Sakamoto, the class president who has been Akihisa’s friend and partner-in-crime since the freshman year.
The school happens to have developed experiments to summon fantasy creatures, and Akihisa decides to rally F class to take on the higher-tiered classes and seize their perks. The F class uses the summoned creatures in an all-out battle for school supremacy. – MAL
Thoughts:
Seinime: One series I plan on watching. One point I don’t like as seen from the trailer however, is the part when they battle. It looks too cliched and…well, 2D. I hope they throw in an epic 3D section as well. Who wants to see the F’s beat the A’s? I do. F’ing A. I read the manga and it seemed pretty good, watching Yoshii get humiliated by everyone else drives my masochistic nerves makes me laugh.
JubbZ: Another guaranteed show I’ll be blogging about. I’ve read the manga and it’s freakin’ hilarious. The main character just adds a different flavor to the average Shonen protagonist and that’s why I know I’ll love this show. Right up my alley.
DK Eternity: This one reminds me a bit of Index for some reason. I actually read a bit of the first volume to see how it goes, and so far it did entertain me. I’m a big fan of fantasy novels so I do have a lot of expectations for this one. I hope they’re right.
EmperorJ: Bakatest has the advantage of having it’s title able to be shortened into something that can be remembered easily. I’m just hoping the comedy is good because I could probably care less about the action parts if there are any.
Polymetrica: I actually read halfway through the first chapter of the manga, and I was like “Ugh, what kind of silly concept is this!!” and I fled.
Will I last through the first episode? Of course! I liked the manga. Considered to blog.
Chu-Bra!!
Also known as: Chu Bra!!, ちゅーぶら!!
Animated by: ZEXCS
Airing Schedule: Debuting on Jan 4, 2010. Episodes unknown, 20 min. per episode.

Summary:
The story centers on Nayu, a middle school girl who shocks her schoolmates on the first day of school by wearing black lace panties. She likes this kind of underwear, and she tries to “spread the word on the merits of [these kinds of] underwear” via an underwear club with her schoolmates, who are worried about their bodies’ development and which underwear to choose. [Source: ANN]
Thoughts:
Seinime: Umm…desperate for fanservice fans must watch this? Not for me. I heard that it’s about girls and their periods. Do I really need to know this. I’d rather watch stupid fanservice than…educational fanservice? Ugh. Perverted girls make a perverted club, which is just…no.
EmperorJ: Even from my short read of the manga I could never have imagined this actually getting green lit to be animated. The main character would probably work as a very minor character in any other comedy/slice-of-life series, but really this has no business existing. Basically the concept is this middle school girl being incredibly knowledgeable about underwear…and that’s pretty much the entire story.
Sample dialogue would be like this:
Girl A: My bra is feeling tight.
Protagonist: You should switch to this type.
Girl A: Thank you this is much better.
That’s pretty much what you get, but I expect them to pad out the earlier part of this fake scene.
DK Eternity: Underwear club? What!? I think it’s safe to say that I’ll pass on this one.
Polymetrica: What substantial and educational dialogue. Maybe I’ll watch it for the luls or something wao. You mean Dulalala!! isn’t the only series this season to have two exclamation marks??!! How is this po-
WillR: This will be this seasons Kampfer, the show I watch, but never admit to watching.
JubbZ: OH YEAAAAAAAAAAH. This one’s bound to be labeled one of the terrible animes of the season. It’s a show about freakin panties. How hilarious is that! It’s definitelty gonna be uncensored on the broadcast (wishful thinking). I’ll be watchin, but I don’t know if I’ll blog it. Well, I might blog it for the sake of giving my readers some Fanservice to look forward to.
DK Eternity: Underwear club? What!? I think it’s safe to say that I’ll pass on this one.
Will I last through the first episode? Not a girl who needs sex ed, no thank you. Not that desperate for fanservice. Japan, oh you.
Durarara!!
Also known as: Dhurarara!!, Dyurarara!!, Dulalala!!, DRRR!!, デュラララ!!
Animated by: Brains Base, Aniplex
Airing Schedule: Debuting on Jan 7, 2010. Episodes: 24, 20 min. per episode.

Summary:
The story takes place in a downtown of Tokyo, Ikebukuro. Teenage punks gang up and fight against each other. The gangsters are afraid of an urban legend “Dullahan” headless rider, who rides a black motorcycle without head lights nor sounds of engine. Ryuugamine Mikado is a normal high school boy who seeks peculiar beings. When He moves in to Ikebukuro, a mad scramble for Dullahan’s missing head breaks out.
Thoughts:
Seinime: Well, I haven’t watched the predecessor, Baccano!!, yet, so I fail. However, A mad scramble for Dullahan’s missing head breaks out.” You got me there. A headless knight and interesting art. Guess I’ll watch them both if I have the time.
Polymetrica: Baccano!’s spiritual successor, since it’s based on the light novel by the same author as Baccano!, but “just” with a different story and character designer. Definitely watching for sure (double affirmative here!!) because nothing is cooler than some headless biker who kills with uh, a bike. Probably needs more Firos and weird wine, but as long as they’re all crazy, who cares?! Probably the first show in a decade that I am committing to before it’s even released. (No joke?)
DK Eternity: “From the creators of Baccano!” already had me interested in this. Plus, it looks to have a bunch of interesting characters. I’d like to see just how crazy this can get.
Jubbz: This one looks to be highly entertaining. Mainly due to the synopsis I’m reading and it’s made by the guy who did Baccano! Surely this one will probably be a part of the top grade Anime this season. Or not. I ain’t watchin till its finished airing though. Hell, I’ve yet to even finish Baccano. Alas, i shall watch at some point. >_>
Cokematic: “from the creators of Baccano” you know… I never really “got” Baccano but I’m willing to give this a chance. (I’m dropping this at the first sign things turn sour, however)
Will I last through the first episode? “ Might blog it.
Dance in the Vampire Bund
Also known as: ダンスインザヴァンパイアバンド

Summary:
After millennia in hiding, Mina Tepes, the Princess of the ancient covenant and ruler of all vampires, wants change. Using the vast wealth of the Tepes line, she has paid off the entire gross national debt of Japan and in so doing, gained the authority to create a “special district” off the coast of Japan that is to become the future haven to vampires the world over!
Now, on the eve of the landmark press conference announcing the existence of vampires to the world, terrorists and rival factions are plotting to assassinate Mina Tepes before she has a chance to make her world-changing announcement.
(Seven Seas)
Thoughts:
Seinime: A loli vampire taking over the world with massive violence…well maybe. Depends on how fast it gets into action without the massive speech on how vampires are awesome or whatever.
Jubbz: Oh hell yes. A vampire loli would surely bait in a buncha lolicons who are either sadistic or masochistic. It’s only natural seeing a delicious flat chest covered in blood. But delusional fucks would totally think that red is kool-aid. Or she just murdered the Kool-aid man in that promo picture. Either way, It’s also a SHAFT production, so I’m lookin forward to this.
SHAFT + vampire lolis = interesting. I’ll definately give this one a shot.
Will I last through the first episode? Likely. Loli vampire, reminds me of a certain someone…if it gets freaky enough I’ll blog it.
Hanamaru Kindergarten
Also known as: Hanamaru Yōchien, Hanamaru Kindergarten, はなまる幼稚園
Animated by: Gainax
Airing Schedule: Debuting on Jan 10, 2010. Episodes unknown, 20 min. per episode.
Trailers: Trailer 1

Summary:
Anzu goes to a preschool with her friends, the shy Koume and the eccentric Hiiragi. Together they try to attract attention from their caretaker Tsuchida. However, he is clearly more interested in the pretty Yamamoto who supervises the class next door.
Thoughts:
Seinime: Kindergarteners? No. Moeblobs attached to kids’ bodies? No.
WillR: Aside from the Gainax bounce, this show feels more like a J.C. Staff production than Gainax. The show seems to be a strange mix between Kodomo No Jikan and Potemayo, which sounds like a bad combination to me. What can I say, something about kindergardeners trying to inflate their breasts rubs me the wrong way. Based on the teaser I saw, there is a teacher who will be fulfilling the role of Gainax Bounce character. Also a miss for me, but I have a feeling that I’ll watch it anyway out of deranged loyalty to Gainax.
Polymetrica: Wait a minute, this entire series is about little kids trying to grow larger chests? What kind of shallow pl-
Jubbz: Lol wut? Gainax Finally went the little kids route, so we won’t be seeing any of their amazing titty physics in this show… unless they give us a smokin’ hot teacher. Other than that, This show might be a hit or miss. And it’s looking to be a miss to me.
Cokematic: The character designs look like they came out of Potemayo. But if Potemayo was cool kid in school, Hanamaru would be the weaking the cool kid picked on. Sorry, try again next season Gainax.
Will I last through the first episode? I am not THAT much of a lolicon. Have the honors, Shin.
Harukanaru 3

Summary:
A continuation of the Harukanaru series. From the previous: Akane Motomiya and her friends Tenma and Shimon are pulled by a demon into another world, where Akane becomes the Priestess of the Dragon God. The people of this world tell her that she is the only one who can stop the demons from taking over; meanwhile, the demons want to use her power for their own ends. Luckily, Akane has the Hachiyou, eight men with powers of their own who are sworn to protect the Dragon Priestess. (Source: ANN)
Thoughts:
Seinime: I’m not that fond of history anime, and I don’t think I ever will be. Pass.
DK Eternity: I haven’t even watched the previous seasons, so I’m not gonna watch this.
Cokematic: What, there was a Harukanaru 1 and 2?
Will I last through the first episode? No. Past. History. Yaaaaaawwwwwwn.
Hidamari Sketch – Triple Star
Also known as: Sunshine Sketch x Three Stars, Hidamari Sketch x Hoshi Mittsu, ひだまりスケッチ x ☆☆☆
Animated by: SHAFT, Lantis
Airing Schedule: Debuting on Jan 7, 2010. Episodes unknown, 20 min. per episode.
Trailers: None so far.
Resources: melative
Summary:
At TBS Anime Festa, the third season of Hidamari Sketch was announced. The title is “Hidamari Sketch x ☆☆☆ (Hoshi Mittsu)”.
Thoughts:
Seinime: Had enough of slice of life for a while AND tired of translating endless lines of them talking about their lives. Bad A.D.D. going on in their heads…next.
WillR: More of the same, which isn’t a bad thing, but it’s not very exciting. i’ll watch it, but it won’t be the reason I get out of bed in the morning.
Jubbz: So uh, This is that one show with the little girls in apartments doing art right? I think that’s what it’s about. Otherwise, I don’t know too much about it ‘cept it’s another of SHAFT’s works. I haven’t seen the first 2 (or 3) Hidamari Sketch shows, so I’ll be passing on this one. Though Justice from the Waffle blog agreed to blog this one.
DK Eternity: It’s more Hidamari, and more Hidamari is good. Definitely going to watch this.
Cokematic: I loved all the previous Hidamari Sketches. MORE Yuno, Miyako and Hiro! (Sae can die in a fire).
Xau: I’ll be watching it for sure. Loved the first two season and can use more. This is kind of my type of show. Feels weird watching it though since I’m in my twenties and I’m amused by middle school girls attending middle school.
Will I last through the first episode? NO. NONONONONONONONONO. ;_;
Ookami Kakushi
Also known as: Ōkami Kakushi, Okamikakushi, おおかみかくし

Summary:
The story follows Hiroshi Kuzumi, a 16-year-old boy who has just moved to the seemingly serene village of Jogamachi. Nestled in the mountains far away from the city, the village is divided by a river that separates old Jogamachi from new Jogamachi. Young Hiroshi soon discovers that the village’s ancient as well as mysterious traditions and customs have been kept alive over the ages. Although a bit bewildered by the new environment, Hiroshi begins to settle into his new life. While he has never been the type to win any popularity contests, he quickly earns the affection of his classmates. That is with the exception of aloof class president, Nemuru Kushinada, whose only words to Hiroshi are a warning to stay away from old part of town. It is there that terror and mystery await him.
Thoughts:
Seinime: Horror genre is a plus. Interested in the story, missed 11eyes so might give this a go.
Jubbz: This series here is another of the Horror genre in which Ryukishi07 has a hand in. I won’t be expecting too much, but I could hope that he doesn’t do a buncha time loops on us which’ll go into a second season. I’ll watch, but I’m hoping everything will be answered a little faster. (in other words, no second season). This nigga has a bad habit of lying too much.
DK Eternity: Okay, so it’s a Ryukishi07 thriller. Maybe I’ll give this one a try. The art looks good and I’ll expect a lot from the story as well.
Polymetrica: Whoa, totally forgot about this series! Character designs by Peach-Pit and a story by Ryukishi07 sounds like a pretty elite combination, but hopefully it turns out okay.
Will I last through the first episode? Oh yes. Horror sparks my flames.
Katanagatari
Also known as: Katana Gatari, 刀語
Animated by: White Fox
Airing Schedule: Debuting at Jan 25, 2010. 12 episodes, 60 min. per episode.
Trailers: Trailer 1, Trailer 2
Resources: melative
Summary:
A swordfight story taking place in Edo era (17th – 19th century). Yasuri Shichika is the seventh head of the Kyotou school of Japanese sword martial arts and lives in Fushou Island with his sister Nanami. With the order from a female samurai general Togame, he sets out for a trip to collect the twelve treasured swords created by a legendary swordsmith Shikizaki Kiki.
Thoughts:
Seinime: Well…if history has epic sword battles and nice art, I can change my mind.
DK Eternity: Three things about this show that interested me:
1. The art. It’s definitely different from the others. And when I say different, I mean it in a good way.
2. It looks like there’s gonna be some good action, and swords. And I like it.
3. It’s a Nisioisin light novel adaptation. Considering how I’m liking Bakemonogatari so far, I think I’ll give this one a try.
Jubbz: I really thought this show had some connection to Bakemonogatari. Hell, the webisodes even had a promo or two for it. One thing I do know, is that I’ll be watching this because this show looks really interesting. I got a blogger who adgreed to blog it. >.>
Polymetrica: Another light novel adaptation, based on a children-directed-ish novel series by Nisioisin, author or Bakemogatari (lol the titles are similar). Wait a minute, why am I describing everything? Anyways, I read some reviews on the light novel and it sounds pretty intriguing, and that art direction is way unique. I think that this will have a considerably different tone than Bakemonogatari since the original novel was directed at a different audience (I think?), but considering how popular Nisioin, it should be pretty quality..at least that’s what I hope it turns out to be! (No slideshows please!)
Will I last through the first episode? Maybe. Hoping for a series that will finally spark my historical genre interest. Go for it SHAFT.
Ladies vs Butlers
Also known as: Ladies versus Butlers!, Redei Bato!, Redei x Bato, れでぃ×ばと!
Animated by: XEBEC
Airing Schedule: Debuting on Dec 29, 2009. Episodes unknown, 20 min. per episode.
Trailers: Trailer 1
Resources: melative
Summary:
Hino Akiharu lost his parents when he was small and was adopted into his uncle’s family. But he noticed his uncle is after the inheritance of his parents, so he decides to enter a boarding school, Hakureiryou high school. However his delinquent boy-like appearance frightens the girls, who make up the majority of the students. Being unable to get along with the classmates, Akiharu meets his childhood girlfriend Saikyou Tomomi.
Thoughts:
Seinime: Looks like a typical harem anime which vaguely reminds me of Hayate. HUGE croissant hair shaped wealthy girl. I cannot imagine a H-scene. I don’t think so.
WillR: Reformed deliquent, butlers serving predominantly female population, oujo-samas…All these troupes are so worn through. Seems to me that this is just Ouran Host Club with all the male competition removed. Additionally: GODDAMN have you seen that one girl’s hairdo? It’s a giant Croissant. It’s all I’m going to be able to look at if I do pick up this show.
Jubbz: Unless this show has combat butlers and maids, Then I cannot watch this show. Maybe Sankaku Complex can change my mind if I see some uncensored ecchi. But even then, the show looks kinda meh. Not watching it.
Will I last through the first episode? I…don’t think so. I’ll look at the aerodynamics of the croissant haired girl and delete it. Or eat it. Mmm.
Nodame Cantabile Finale
Also known as: Nodame Cantabile Third Season, Nodame Cantabile Season 3, Nodame Cantabile: Finale, のだめカンタービレ フィナーレ
Animated by: J.C. Staff
Airing Schedule: Debuting on Jan 14, 2010. Episodes unknown, duration unknown.
Trailers: Trailer 1
Resources: melative
Summary:
Season 3 of Nodame Cantabile. The finale (I think).
Thoughts:
Seinime: Too late for this, so no thank you. Also, art and voice are not pleasing.
DK Eternity: I haven’t even finished the first season yet, so I won’t be watching this. Maybe I will in the future, when I’ve actually finished seasons 1 and 2…
Jubbz: First of all, I haven’t even seen the first 2 seasons, so I don’t have much to say on this. Well, I suppose if they include some super special awesome H-scene of Chiaki and Nodame gettin’ it on, then of course I’d be all over this. But because of that, and me not watching the first 2 seasons, I cannot watch.
Cokematic: Still haven’t had the stomach to finish the crap that is Nodame Cantabile – Paris Chapter. If it sticks to what made the first season great I’m willing to give it another shot.
Will I last through the first episode? No. Dear goodness the voice is scratching my ears.
Omamori Himari
Also known as: おまもりひまり
Animated by: ZEXCS
Airing Schedule: Debuting on Jan 6, 2010. Episodes unknown, 20 min. per episode.
Trailers: Trailer 1
Resources: melative
Summary:
Yuuto is your average, high school boy just turned 16. His childhood friend, Rin has taken care of him ever since his parents died when he was younger. All of a sudden, a girl named Himari walks into his life. Himari is a cat-girl samurai who is sworn to protect Yuuto. There’s only one small problem: Yuuto is allergic to cats!
Thoughts:
Seinime: If there’s only one anime I’m watching this season, it’s this one. Heard it’s great, manga was great, hope it’ll be great.
EmperorJ: Seems like it could very well be a destitute man’s Girls Bravo. I’m sure there’s fans of this somewhere and I won’t be able to resist the temptation to watch.
Jubbz: Oh, I hear this show’s supposed to have some fanservice to it as well. A harem involving spirits. Goodness, I’ll only watch if the broadcast doesn’t massacre it with censors. Otherwise, that’s all this show’s got going for it. Then again, It’s probably DVD worthy if the action is even decent.
Will I last through the first episode? YES. And I will blog it/sub it.
Qwaser no Stigmata
Also known as: Seikon no Qweisā, Seikon no Quasar, Seikon no Qwaser
Animated by: TAKI Corporation, Hoods Entertainment
Airing Schedule: Debuting in Jan 2010. 24 episodes, duration unknown.
Trailers: Trailer 1
Resources: melative
Summary:
The St. Mikhailov Academy student Oribe Mafuyu comes across a mysterious silver haired boy. He is called a Qwsaer, a being that draws power from Soma and is able to manipulate a specific element. And now, in the 21st century, the mystery revolving around an Icon turns the academy into the battlegrounds for the fight between the Qwaser!
Thoughts:
Seinime: Ahaha~ apparently the main character gets power from breast milk and his name translated into English means “Dick”. /facepalm NEXT!
EmperorJ: I read a couple of the chapters of the manga of Qwaser no Stigmata. Basically reminded me of the fact that no matter how well you make something look good or write very well, if the basic premise is comically or socially absurd it just doesn’t work at all.
Jubbz: Oh this is an automatic MUST WATCH AND BLOG for me. It’s my replacement for Queen’s Blade, mosdef. The fanservice should be packed and it shall be hilarious to watch a man gain power from breast milk. OH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
DK Eternity: What is this I don’t even… This sounds so ridiculous that I might actually try watching it.. Maybe.
Will I last through the first episode? No.
Sora no Woto
Also known as: So-Ra-No-Wo-To, Soranowoto, Sora no Oto, Sound of the Sky, ソ・ラ・ノ・ヲ・ト
Animated by: Aniplex, A-1 Pictures Inc.
Airing Schedule: Debuting on Jan 4, 2010. 13 episodes, 20 min. per episode.
Trailers: Trailer 1
Resources: melative
Summary:
The story takes place in an imaginary town Seize (the model cities are Cuenca and Alarcón Fortress in Spain). A long war brings a gradual decline to the world. People disappear from the town and fishes cease to exist in the sea. In this quiet world, five girls guard a fortress and play brass vividly.
Thoughts:
Seinime: So it’s um…war through/with music? I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this looks like K-ON! spanish ver. But K-ON! was ok, so I’ll take a look at this.
Cokematic: While the running gag is that its K-ON S2, I’m hoping it won’t be (ie. more actual music plz). Chances of blogging it will be linearlly correlated with the number of moe blobs that appear.
WillR: I won’t lie, I know very little about this series, but based on what I’ve heard, it seems like it’s Strike Witchs (Military girls)+K-On! (Music making girls).
Polymetrica: I don’t think it’ll really involve HARDCORE ACTION BAM or something, from the looks of the art released for it. Seems more like a…livan thru war animu to me. I don’t know D’:
Jubbz: The title got me thinking it was about some choir until I read that synopsis. Teen girls in the army? I’m almost tempted to think they’re about to pull another Strike Witches on us, ‘cept they’re actually wearing something to cover said pantsu T_T >_> I ain’t watching until someone shows me it’s good. I just don’t see much entertainment in this.
DK Eternity: Wait, is this K-On! season 2 or something? Oh, wait, it’s not… But this looks and feels similar to K-On! that it feels a bit weird to me. Not sure if I’ll watch this one.
EmperorJ: I would like to think of it as maybe some sort of fantasy revision of Macross 7…feeling really old right about now.
Will I last through the first episode? Yes, and I might blog it.
Other titles of interest can be found at Melative. This includes OVAs/movies, and the such. Hope you guys didn’t forget about the upcoming Eden of the East movie already?
That’s all folks, hope you enjoyed the winter 2010 preview.
Check out these other neat previews: Sea Slugs’, Rabbit Poets’, Notcliche’s, Oishii’s, Bokutachi’s, Metanorn’s

I would call this the most epic season preview evah except for the fact that none of you like Nodame.
“Polymetrica: I don’t think it’ll really involve HARDCORE ACTION BAM or something, from the looks of the art released for it. Seems more like a…livan thru war animu to me. I don’t know D’: ”
That’s exactly what I thought looking at it. The synopsis says that the war is already over so my guess is these ladies won’t actually do any fighting whatsoever. At least, not until the last episode.
Sora no Woto and Katanagatari have slightly sparked my interest after reading this. Qwaser sounds like utterly horrifying crap. I’m definitely watching Hidden God and Dance in the Vampire Bund all the way through. As for the rest not much sounds appealing right now.
eh, this is the first time I see a season with so little things that pick my interest. Ladies versus Butlers, Katana Gatari and Durarara. The rest adapted from manga I read will more than most likely be butchered as usual, and the others look uninteresting. On second thought, this is probably a good thing, with less thing to watch I might actually be able to concentrate on other things -_-
“main character gets power from breast milk”
What men often forget, is that breast milk only appears when female is pregnant. Therefore – can we expect alot of fucking and birthgiving ? Whole academy full of pregnant orthodox schoolgirls ? Err…
Umm…don’t wish to know. I don’t think you would either.

Durarara!! Can’t wait, I loved Baccano!
Shoot, I should do some Winter Previews soon too. Although it doesn’t look like it’ll be a good season. At least I have my FMA.
I’m with Reltair on DRRR!!
I heard that it’s about girls and their periods. lolwaaaa… didn’t know, so bad.
Seinime, you should totally try to watch Baccano! in December, it’s not long. ^^
ps. I’m thinking a little dynamic plugin for resource linking might be good. I’ll likely be doing a plain list page on my blog like I did for Autumn.
The only pick I have so far is Vampire Bund. May pick up another somewhere down the line if schoolwork doesn’t get to me.
I think I’m one of the very few people who’s excited for Sora no Woto. ;;
Seikon no Quaser is an amusing read.
When I first saw the winter list a few weeks’ ago, I noticed that none of the series spark my interests…and your post confirmed that.
Man, I wish I get to see something like a Kimi no Todoke or Kobato kinda series. T.T
I noticed a *slight* decline in series with every passing season, so hopeful that next spring will be a bit more fruitful than this year.
Hidamari 3ple Star!!!
Seems like there will be only few interesting anime. But maybe I will give Omamori Himari a go. And several others as well.
Man, I thought that there will be a lot of interesting anime on my next holiday
Oh. This would be a lot of choices to watch this coming holidays.
Damn, I don’t think my google reader’s working right, because I totally missed this post when it first came out.
It’s funny you think the season looks bleak, because I was thinking the opposite. To be fair though, this season seems unusual in that there’s a handful of shows I’m really interested in (DRRR, Nodame, Okami, Vampire, etc.)… and then everything else I’m not interested in. Very few, if any, that fall in between.
Also, very nice job pulling all the various opinions together!
