Still in the middle of watching everything and writing an impressions post up, but I can tell you that Black Rock Shooter’s pilot episode…was awesome. Screencaps of win quality enclosed.
Can’t wait for the episodes coming out in Spring. The animation gets a tad worse at times as well as giving a whole edgey/unfinalized feeling to it, but it was the pilot episode, after all. The music went well with the scenes, and made me more of a fan (if not already). I can only hope for the episodes to come to be just as epic, if not better. Makes me wonder about the story and the characters (The character in Miku’s? memories, as well as the villain).
I never knew one of Black Rock Shooter’s powers was to make you a twintail though.
The thing that pissed me off though was that they called this a pilot episode; its nothing more then a glorified trailer >_<
@Snark Yeah, but I found it 1 minute I enjoyed, I guess.
I thought it was going to be a full fledged episode, and perhaps even an extended one because it’s the pilot. Still pretty nice though and makes me want to watch the series when it comes out spring.
Good stuff, can’t wait for the series in spring. I love series that have well animated fight scenes. ^^;
