Sorry I’m a few years late, guys.
Prepare for *gasp* an actually tl;dr post! Or the closest I can ever get to one.
Hmm, how should I start off? Oh, the reason I didn’t watch this spectacular anime until now. Mostly because by the time I got to even see this show after heavily getting into anime, [...]

Click to enlarge. Credits to ChartFag. I’m not really liking this season so far except for Baka Test and Omanori…yawn. Looks like it’s still back to old anime for now…

Thanks all. Doesn’t mean I’m dead yet, just screwed since I’m piled with work. But I did however, get a chance to sneak in an episode for Darker than Black. Also starting to watch the first few episodes of the first season. Never knew Funimation was streaming it dubbed on YouTube as well.
Thoughts:
Looks like Hei’s [...]

Sorry for not keeping up lately. Busy week, busy week…
Highlights:
Kobato always takes the show on with moe. Also she says “ganbatte/ganbarimasu/etc” a lot. I like her.
Clamp, you and your references. I guess I should have saw this coming, I see. Megumi Nakajima voicing them is a fresh new start, and I like it as well. [...]
Its been a long standing tradition for JC Staff to fill up the first 90% of a series with nothing useful, only to move on to some important plot points with a small handful of episodes remaining. Case in point, Zero no Tsukaima, Shakugan no Shana, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I still love JC [...]

Lag’s journey officially begins as he sets out to become a Letter Bee, after the five year long wait.
Trying something different this time and trying to provide a better analysis into the episodes, so bear with me here.
The episode starts off with a recap of how Lag came to Aunt Sabrina after Gauche got injured [...]

Actually, no, I can not explain the trippy anime that is Trapeze. So, I sum it up with an image.
If you can see the butterfly or bugs, you are perfectly normal and just like me. You’re completely confused at what is going on.
However, if you see the dismembered female reproductive organ or bleeding split male [...]

1. Not watching Darker than Black’s first season. This show is awesome. I think I was just an anime noob when the first season was airing, or the fact that it was overshadowed by other shows, I heard. No, just remembered I was helping to time Airantou for a fansub group and failing. No wonder.
2. [...]

Insert badly timed and referenced sexual innuendo here to ruin the moment.
Summary: Kobato gets her first candy to fill the bottle. Well, I’d say star bit, but whatever the lady says.
Thoughts: If only being nice can make wishes come true! At least I was hoping for common sense when it comes to dealing with people, [...]

Even Lucy thinks the animation sucks. Above picture says it all.
Here I have an anime that would have totally rocked this season, since the manga wasn’t that bad and did quite well. It majorly pissed me off when I saw the first episode; A-1 Pictures and Satelight managed to screw it up already.
Why, you may [...]

You’ll notice that each arc focuses on something different, and is usually told from a different perspective. Unlike the first arc, which is told from Battler’s perspective, it looks like this one focuses on the relationships between George and Shannon, and Jessica and Kanon, and as such, told from the perspectives of the people involved. Maybe there will be more to come, since this is just the beginning…
Also, another thing to notice is how the term “furniture” is further expanded on, and how magic is more prevalent. I think Beatrice also mentioned something about Kanon and Shannon having the power to see her, or something like that, which might hint at something bigger.
I’m still not sure how all of these would fit in with the info from the last arc, but this is what I liked about Higurashi, and what I’m looking forward to doing in Umineko: To piece together the events and the information given by each arc to see the big picture, and what’s really going on. Kinda like assembling a puzzle, where you’re gradually given pieces as it goes on, and in the end you get to assemble everything and complete the puzzle.
I’m definitely looking forward to next week’s episode.

The rest of the arc is a complete mind****. Be prepared, and don’t give up on solving the mystery.

@DK Eternity: Interesting. Hoping for the next one soon as well.
@Taiyaki: I won’t. My mind is ready for ****ing.
