Haruhi Ended Eight: Interpretations needed. I love the ending because…
I somehow jokingly made a prediction on Twitter and it actually turns out that way. I’m disappointed/amazed/rolling on the floor laughing at this ending. Finally a Kyon variation gets some balls and finds out something in that sequence where he looks like he’s getting a Death Note heart attack. Open for interpretations. I call it “Haruhi’s tsundere love + spending more time with Kyon” wish. See that blush? Although DK_Eternity’s take on this with the “I think it’s more like she wanted everyone to end their summer without regrets, or something like that,” approach works too. Your opinions?
Also open for interpretation is this picture. What the heck is coming out of her mouth? My take: “Kirariralilarina! Eeeeee!” Even Mikuru’s voice actor/fansubs got tired of this. “I guess I’ll just shout out something random for the lulz!” – what she thought.

I thought it was very anti-climactic. I honestly saw that being the ending from the third episode, and with each passing episode I became more firm in my belief that homework was the key that unlocks the door. And you what’s funny? I was going to use that exact same screenshot in my review, but then I didn’t. I didn’t post it yet, simply wrote it.
Kyon was tripping balls for sure during that deja vu sequence…..that’s why you shouldn’t do acid.
Still, with all of that said, I was pretty happy with the ending (the long wait made it so that any ending would seem pretty good).

Good thing Endless Eight is not Endless afterall…. no more Haruhi rage every time Endless Eight loops although some people enjoyed the rage…
The good news out of this is that we are getting more episodes meaning Sighs could be the next arc that will be airing…

She wanted more time with Kyon, she wanted a perfect summer with no regrets, she wanted Kyon to actually suggest something meaningful worth doing therefore spending more time with Kyon and having no regrets. Impossible to know for sure, but man..after eight episodes that’s all it took? At the end they were rolling the credits like it was the last (on air) episode of Haruhi 2006. Yeah, we made it through *something* (replace *something* with your choice) and I’m relieved, I guess. I’m probably one of the few who didn’t hate E8 as much as everyone else, but honestly eight episodes for that?

I didn’t know how it would end, but I did expect it to be something rather mundane. I’d generally expect the anticlimactic for something like this.
Also, between your accurate prediction and TheBigN’s pre-Otakon Kannagi prediction, I think you guys should team up and start selling your predictions to gamblers.

Haruhi tried to use telekinesis on Kyon but not success. Afterward, she realized that she doesn’t have that ability.
