Long Story Short: So Yui and the K-ON gang go to the beach to relax and have fun to practice for the school festival. Ritsu suggests a maid cafe, but Mio would just mind explode at the thought of it. Mugi as the super rich kid with all your monetary problems takes everyone to her supposedly small villa, and everyone has fun and chills out. Wait, they’re supposed to practice! Everyone is too tired to practice, but Mio pulls her moe magic and gets everyone all cheered up again. Yui suddenly wows everyone with a massive jump in her guitar playing levels, and suddenly the band dream doesn’t seem that far away…
What I Think: More Mio moe seems to pull me away from the lack of music playing…but they better get their act together soon RAEG! Although the superpowered guitar playing Yui was kinda nice.
I demand a better picture of Ritsu in the banner. Guess I should post moar before demanding anything. XD
The “superpowered guitar playing Yui” made me feel like I missed an episode of K-ON. Last time we saw our beloved light music club, Yui had forgotten all of the chords she learned in order to ace that math test. And, all of a sudden, one episode later she’s an expert player? I don’t get it.
I wish that this episode would have been but into two parts. The first part would have featured some actual practicing, and the second part could have been focused on the more relaxing elements of episode 4. Then Yui’s massive improvement would have made a lick of sense.
XD Gawd, I really enjoyed this episode, and Mio, yes she was most of it, but Yui was quite a highlight. JAM-U Rock to the Fireworks! Go Go

On side note, I think that they’re getting sideways on their goal xD. Poor Mio, nobody listens to her.I’m sure many liked the moe meido mio scene XD
